Installation Guide for mods:
When using Forge:
- Install Forge (Get it here)
- Download the mod
- Open your .minecraft directory.
If you don't know how to get there:
- For Windows: type %appdata%\.minecraft into your search box on the start-menu.
- For Mac: type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft into your Spotlight search window.
- For Linux: go to ~/.minecraft
- put the .jar-File into the mods folder in your .minecraft directory
- Run minecraft with the forge version, enjoy!
When using
ModLoader (for older versions):
- Open your .minecraft directory.
If you don't know how to get there:
- For Windows: type %appdata%\.minecraft into your search box on the start-menu.
- For Mac: type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft into your Spotlight search window.
- For Linux: go to ~/.minecraft
- Backup your your_minecraft_version.jar in the versions folder (for even older versions: in the .bin folder), if you don't know how to get there google it, there are numerous sites explaining it.
- Install ModLoader (Or try it with Forge. May work, but not tested.)
- Don't forget to delete the META-INF folder!
- Unzip the mod
- Open your minecraft.jar (as you did for ModLoader)
- Drag and drop everything from the "put content into minecraft.jar" into the minecraft.jar, then close it
- If there is such a folder, copy everything from the "put content into .minecraft resources" into the resources folder (into .minecraft/resources NOT the jar-file or .minecraft/bin!!!) Otherwise you won"t have the horse sounds.
- Run minecraft, enjoy!
Mod-ID Change:
This is only important if you have had an older version of this mod installed. Updating from an older version to the new version will destroy all of the blocks and items placed in the world and you have to replace them.
Also your world may do some very funny things
(for example: straw blocks you placed in a chest will now be slime blocks...)
This is due to the change of the mod ID.
I had to do this to address some bugs or because of switching from ModLoader to Forge.
Sorry for that!

Installation Guide for worlds:
- Open your .minecraft directory.
If you don't know how to get there:
- For Windows: type %appdata%\.minecraft into your search box on the start-menu.
- For Mac: type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft into your Spotlight search window.
- For Linux: go to ~/.minecraft
- Extract the .zip-file into your saves folder in the .minecraft directory
- Make sure there are no unnecessary subfolders. The path should look like this: saves/worldname/data,DIM1... not saves/worldname/worldname/data,DIM1...
- Run Minecraft and go to Singleplayer. Scroll down until you find the world. Enjoy!
